Thermal Tempering: The Heat is On w/ Temper-Flex
Thermal tempering involves heating glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it. This process enhances the strength of the glass by at least four to five times compared to annealed glass. It’s not just about strength; thermally tempered glass is also safer. In the event of breakage, it shatters into small, dull-edged pieces, significantly reducing injury risks. The Pujol Temper-Flex solution is one of the most efficient products in the market renowned for its flatness on 1/8″ glass.
